Teachers’ level of Perception and Realization of features of Learning Difficulties in a sample of Preparatory-School Teachers

Abstract:

Difficulties of learning are the most overwhelming awkwardness recently facing students. They are, as well, the most severe obstacles that prevent educational process from achieving the goals set for promoting students’ competence, recognition and realization of the threats surrounding them. Hence, the scholar prepared this study aiming at discovering and identifying the teachers’ level of perceiving such learning difficulties. He adopted the analytical descriptive method for the purpose in question. The study targeted a sample of 60 teachers (male and female) in a number of educational institutes. A questionnaire was used as a research tool. In addition, a number of statistical methods were used like averages, percentages, relative weight, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, reliability Alpha Cronbach coefficient, and half-partition reliability coefficient. The results showed:

-A low level of perception of the features of learning difficulties and the methodologies followed in teaching this category;

-An average level of realizing the reasons of learning difficulties.
