The method of negation and educational connotations in the Holy Qur’an

Abstract:

This research aims at defining the disallowance forms used in Arabic language, identifying some of the pedagogical implications the style of disallowance proclaims through references of the holy Qur’an, and practically applying the principle of disallowance followed in the Qur’an. To put this idea into action, the scholar adopts the analytical inductive approach. 

The most important results reached say that the style of the Qur’an varies in ways of ordering and disallowing that match people’s nature and fit their idiosyncrasy. It focuses heavily on the pedagogical aspect manifested in the style of disallowance adopted. Taking into consideration what people got used to, the Qur’an gradually submits disallowances so as to be more acceptable. It, moreover, enforces the style with proofs and evidences, and embraces the approach of softness, advising, wisdom and good instruction colored by courtship and friendliness.
