Level of psychological alienation of a sample of Yemeni students on scholarship to the republic of Tunisia and its relationship with some variables

Abstract:

The study aimed at identifying the level of psychological alienation of a sample of Yemeni students on scholarship abroad and the statistical differences among the sample members on the basis of the variables of gender, specialization, age, marital status, years of scholarship. The analytical descriptive method was embraced. The sample conducted was made up of 56 students on scholarship to Tunisia, 22-25 years old. To meet the purposes of the study, Al-kubaisi measure for psychological alienation was used and adopted according to the characteristics of the sample.

The study concluded that the level of psychological alienation of the sample members was high. No differences were found on the basis of variables of gender, specialization, marital status, years of alienation and age group. The study recommended that cultural and sports activities among the students to be conducted, and make sure o share students of the Tunisian society participate in them to increase interaction and build social relationships among the students.
