Abstract:

The research aimed at identifying the efficiency of a training program based on professional standards to improve the necessary competencies of teachers of disabled persons in the inclusive schools of Idlib. The experimental method was followed. The sample is made up of 26 teachers of both sexes equally categorized into an experimental group and a control group. A measure of the necessary competencies for special education teacher prepared by Bilal Odeh. The training program is prepared by the two scholars. The results showed that: there are no statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control one before the application of the training program. Differences were found between the two groups on the post measure to the favor of the experimental group. Differences were found among the members of the experimental group to the favor of the post measure. No differences were found between the members of the control group in the pre and post measures. No differences were found between the ranks of the experimental members in the post measure are attributed either to the variable of sex or the academic specialization.
