Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of acquiring scientific concepts in improving academic achievement and fostering creative thinking among third-grade students in the field of science and technology in Tunisia. To achieve this, the study was conducted using both theoretical and applied approaches, involving a sample of 72 teachers who teach fifth and sixth-grade students in primary education. The findings of this study revealed the following:

  • Acquiring scientific concepts contributes to enhancing academic achievement among third-grade students in the field of science and technology in primary education.
  • Acquiring scientific concepts also plays a significant role in developing creative thinking skills among third-grade students in the field of science and technology in primary education.
