Psychological Peace and Its Relationship with Burnout Among University Students in Northern Syria

Abstract
The current research aimed to investigate the correlational relationship between psychological peace and burnout among university students in northern Syria. The researchers relied on a descriptive analytical correlational method. The sample consisted of 1,194 students, including 414 males and 780 females, selected through a non-random convenient sampling method. The Psychological Peace Scale developed by Al-Saraireh and Al-Hawari (2021) and the Burnout Scale developed by Taha and Ragheb (2010) were used as research tools after verifying their validity and reliability. The research came out with several results:
- The level of psychological peace is high among university students in northern Syria.
- The level of burnout is low among university students in northern Syria.
- There is a statistically significant negative correlation between university students’ scores on the Psychological Peace Scale and their scores on the Burnout Scale.
