Scientific Research in the Field of Human and Social Sciences in times of crises in the Arab World: Challenges and Quality Improvement

Abstract
The current research aims to discuss the challenges facing scientific research in the social and human sciences in the Arab world in light of crises in general, which are: (administrative challenges – material challenges – technological challenges – challenges related to research policy – challenges related to university administration – Challenges related to faculty members – challenges related to scientific research – challenges related to the scientific researcher), and the researcher suggested mechanisms to improve the quality of scientific research and treat its challenges; For the comprehensive reform of the scientific research system, the research used the descriptive analytical method, and at the end of the research, the researcher recommends:
- Setting clear and specific criteria for academic promotions.
- Providing a suitable environment for conducting scientific research activities.
- Funding scientific research.
- Preparing databases and information for scientific research.
- Integration between institutions of higher education and production in the field of scientific research.
- Develop a marketing plan for scientific research.
